What’s the average time to hear back from sky west ? I applied last week, I am within 90 days of retiring from my federal job. I’m at 1800 total time with ATP written completed. haven’t heard a peep yet

Did you get to do an interview, or the TBNT was for the application only?

just the application, no interview. I’m trying not to take it personally it’s just that I have a squeaky clean background. I’m just now finishing a 20 year career with the federal government. I retired after 23 years in the army reserve, and my only checkride failure was an instrument checkride several years ago and I’ve been working part time for a 135 company which I have successfully passed day 293 /296 checkride. I’m guessing maybe they just have too many applicants for FO not enough captains. Oh well I will keep trying with other companies

I got the same. With your flight time and background they likely think you will bounce shortly after completing training. I know that may not be true for you, but that’s likely what they think when seeing your app.

I know it's discouraging, but OO did you a favor. With your hours you have the experience for a ULCC. The folks at OO know this, which is likely why they passed on you. Don't give up; a few months from now you're likely to be in training at an airline where the paycheck matches the logo on the tail
