CJO and getting assigned a class

I know it's discouraging, but OO did you a favor. With your hours you have the experience for a ULCC. The folks at OO know this, which is likely why they passed on you. Don't give up; a few months from now you're likely to be in training at an airline where the paycheck matches the logo on the tail

Dust yourself off, be proud, and put your apps in to Spirit and Frontier...and don't look back.

It’s all based on when you hit your minimums. So once you get the CJO, it’s however long until you reach ALL your minimums. And then you’ll be assigned a date. Recently, I’ve seen CRJ getting assigned 2-3 months out, ERJ 4-5 out.

5/30 - interviewed
6/7 - received CJO
7/16 - informed my recruiter that I reached minimums
7/19 - received an automated email saying they expect to schedule me for training in October/November (ERJ)
9/15 - reached out to my recruiter for an update, was told she didn't have any, but still said I should get the information 60 days prior so a November class date was still possible
9/21 - reached out to someone other than my recruiter and was told that her best guess was that I'd be looking at a Dec-Feb class now
9/26 - received an automated email with general training information about ATP CTP, Indoc, etc. Doesn't appear there is any correlation with getting this email and getting assigned a class date in the near future
Overall, a very frustrating process with little information from anyone at SkyWest.

This is very disappointing if true. Here's my timeline so far:

I also have hard time communicating with my recruiter. Not sure to whom talk to besides her. Interview and CJO on September, and not much heard after that.

I'm in the same boat - my CJO email asked me to update the recruiter when I hit my ATP mins. I've been trying to do that for over a week. No reply to emails, and phone calls go to voice mail with no call backs. It's like their office burned to the ground or something.

I feel for both of you. I’m not sure why, but SkyWest Recruiters are among the worst at communicating. I remember when I was going through the process and had received a CJO but had a pertinent question. I wrote a polite, short easy to reply to email and then received nothing. I tried every 10 days or so for over a month and all I heard was crickets. I finally had to pick up the phone and call St George to try and track someone down. I was very close to giving up and going to another airline.
