Default Accommodations During Training

Hello all,
I'm about to start indoc at SLC and looking for what to expect during training particularly in the food and hotel realm. I will not have a vehicle since I will be flying in. It looks like hotel is Doubltree- SLC. I assume no meals are provided so just checking to see how folks handled food etc. Also, I read some old forums that mentioned double occupency rooms and was wondering if that was still a thing. Any input is much appreciated!

Hotel restaurant is decent and breakfast is free with training ID, lunch and dinner 20% off. Training facility has a self-pay lunch bar thing that you can use, although it’s not the greatest. Uber eats was reliable but adds up quickly as it will be a bit before that first check comes in, but it’s usually substantial when it does. They have a special lounge for OO in the hotel that has a small kitchen and a large fridge. No more double occupancy rooms. Have fun.

Great information already provided here, but some of your classmates will have their cars and it's easy enough to go to the grocery store together. Uber is fairly cheap as well. Have fun!
