Min hours Required for Interview. E3 Visa.
I have an Australian friend looking to come in on an E3 Visa.
Right now he's 40 short on night and about 100 short on PIC. He has the multi, cross country and IFR hours.
The (non-US) operator he currently works for, as a Co-pilot on an otter, does not fly at night.
Would he be able to get an interview and possibly a CJO with those hours?
Is there a min hour requirement to get an interview?
Once he got the CJO he would aim to move to the states a couple months prior to his start date and bang out the hours on his own dime.

Former Skywester here. The E3 ship sailed a few years ago. OO is so short on captains that the FO hiring has slowed to the point of hardly existing anymore. Your friend will need a bunch more time, and honestly I'm not aware of any US carriers hiring E3 guys these days...
