If you put in an upgrade bid that includes a base assignment of "any" after your preferred base assignments - then you are eligible for the Captain rate override, or CRO. You'll be paid the difference of the CA rate minus your FO rate after you complete your upgrade LOE. You are eligible during the first monthly award cycle following your aquiring 750hrs.

You have got to be a company plant. "Happy just to be here guy". Oh the amount of money your types have cost pilot groups. "Golly gee....I'm so happy I just get to fly a jet!" Do me a favor and look up some real industry contracts. No wonder your management gets over on the pilot group with BS contracts etc.

Huh? I don't have a horse in this race. Just noting it was interesting while asking for clarification. That's it.

Yes you are “eligible” for captain pay at 750 hours and with an awarded upgrade bid. However basically no one gets awarded till they are over 900 hours so SkyWest only has to back pay a few hours….

If you don't have an upgrade bid in, they'll "award" you one at the end of the month that you hit 900-950ish hrs. But in that case, you aint getting the CRO anyway...
The only exception to this I can think of would be an FO in the DMA program who gets bypassed for upgrade.
