Anyone know how long after training its taking to schedule IOE? I am hearing that it is taking almost a month and a half to schedule. What is the reason for the long delay?

Month and a half sounds about right. There are only so many LCA’s and a lot of people going through initial FO and also CA upgrade IOE right now. That is the reason for the delay. It’s been much longer at times in the past.

10years ago it was 3 months waiting and had to be back to the sim for currency…… than later was just 1 week, it depends on the airframe.

good luck, enjoy the journey

Is there a difference between ERJ & CRJ for wait times?

Was told in indoc that there’s 3 days off after finishing loft before starting ioe.

That sounds like the guaranteed minimum break, gives you time to go home, catch your breath, get your uniform and luggage sorted out, then travel to IOE location.

Actual time to schedule IOE can vary wildly.

This is how it was after the mass forced upgrades and they started training new FOs again. With the amount of new hires, along with the number of upgrades right now, I would think the wait would be closer to a month. There’s just not enough LCAs to go around.
