Safety maybe. If you have a major accident AND they happen to be downsizing their regional fleet at the time, they will pull the safety clause handle and terminate your contract. But if you're cheap and they need the fleet type you have, they'll probably look the other way.

My personal opinion is if there were a bad accident and lawyers were able to come after the US mainline code share partner for damages in a big way then perhaps safety would get the consideration it deserves.

JO runs a terrible product. That doesn't mean the pilots suck. My statement wasn't intended a jab at the pilot group. They can work with only what they're given by management.

Same with Hulie. I work with a lot of former Mesa pilots. Good folks. I also work with a lot of former Trans States & GoJet pilots. Good folks.
