It's not too bad in FAT. Cost of living here compared to just about every other place I've lived. SBP/PSP/LAX would obviously be a different story.

Don't buy a house and you'll be fine. Just a small correction to your posting...........

Since the rates are the same.

My class date is ahead of at least 5 of those CRJ guys who all got the call before me. The CRJ classes are pretty backed up.
I was offered the Bro and after visiting with numerous friends in SKW decided to do as WRXPILOT and my friends recommend and take the BRO class. Looks like I am in the March class. Hopefully get bumped up to Feb.

How backed up are we in both the bro and the jet? What class dates are being offered right now?

Is there any way to offer to be bumped up or is it just luck of the draw? I have an April 3rd class but I'm in a position where I could take a much earlier class date if I had the option. Should I tell them that?

I just got my new hire E-mail yesterday and was given April 3rd in the Bro. I know guys with June class dates in the CRJ so they're backed up at least that far for the CRJ.

Wow that's way out there... I would let them know you are available for an earlier class, it never hurts to try.

Regionals are not the only ones that have a 90 day waiting time for benefits. The majority of every US company does this to ensure you pass your probation period before the company invests too much money on you. Some people should just get a new job because everything all they do is complain. If your that sour than maybe flying just isn't for you.

At Eagle you are an employee from day one, your flying benefits start as soon as they get your paperwork completed and that is completed with in the first week you are there, then medical and such takes about 3 weeks for all the prices to be completed and you covered.

Most airlines have a year probationary period, where do you work at? With your first 2 post I assume Gulfstream "Silver Airlines"
