What doesn't make sense to me is that Skywest is pointing to Bombardier and saying that they say no paperwork is required. Yet that is irrelevant. Someone at the FAA must've been tired of the delays and figured this would light a fire under the appropriate people. This is what the FAA does. They use the press to press the matter. Always works because no airline wants to seem as though they are not safe, even if they aren't.

AA had their MD80 wire bundling issue and fined. WN had some of this older 73's grounded and fined. Nearly every airline has had some sort of issue...nothing to see here, move along.
