There’s a chance anywhere. Though there are several places we have maintenance bases but not crew domiciles.

Though I would say unlikely.

Why is Wall Street buying up this companies stock?
This is weird behavior over the last 6 months.

Because they can see that SkyWest can generate a far greater profitability than the other regionals.

What the flight crews can't see is that they are being screwed by the koolaid haze showered by management. Our rates are less, our reserve rules are draconian at best, and our policy manual might as well be written on an etcha scetch.

Don't get me started on the block vs credit BS!

Wall street can see the job gets done for less because the workforce isn't getting their share. Simple economics.

BA, wasn’t involved in the last negotiations and he seems real eager to have his crack at it.

That was by design. If Inc would’ve given them all the new planes plus as many transfers that Skywest received from Expressjet it would be Skywest that was unprofitable. Shiny new metal, a good contract, and the would’ve had no problem attracting people. Plus movement would’ve balanced out the list so it wasn’t so top heavy. You make it sound like they bought a turd for a company. But Skywest destroyed ExpressJet. The nail in ExpessJets coffin was that the spineless bunch at Skywest will do it for a lot cheaper. Now is the time to stand up for what you’re worth and what do you guys do??? Enjoy your new Mesa rates

Almost half of us will agree to your last point. I’d hope if we were to vote again, “no” would be the overwhelming outcome but I’m continually disappointed in the apathy around here. However, as the eastern bases grow so does the discontent. I’m genuinely convinced Chip has no idea (or cares) how bad moral in some places is. The board will have his head if a Union drive actually succeeds. I guess time will tell if arrogance is his undoing. We all miss Jerry that’s for sure.

It wasnt the pilot contract that was unprofitable... was the MX cost and the CPA rate vs ac leases that they didn’t donthete do diligence... they bid the coa at OO costs then realized that XJT cost 300 more a hr to operate... they weren’t able to get costs inline... so yes OO’s fault. Now the real question. Will OO match repubic/Endeavor rates... my 8 ball says yes they will before this current contract is up...

It doesn't matter if they match their rates. SkyWest will just roll back the credit value for each flight and we will still go no where. Go on open time and pick any trip that doesn't have a dead head on it. The block will exceed the credit by an average of 9%, I've seen as high as 20%! That's how much higher our rates would have to be above endeavor/republic just to match! There is no other airline that does this block vs credit crap!

The block vs credit BS is nothing but pure management robbery. Simply it's theft by deception, but when people are too stupid to know any better, more koolaid please!

Pilots subsidizing huge company profits with new contract so they went all in.
