At the time I was (and still am) active duty in the military, attending Embry-Riddle (3.6 GPA) and a single dad. I am not saying that as an excuse just wanted to clarify that learning to fly wasn't the only thing I was doing. Would I be considered? FWIW I was hired by another regional, because they had domiciles that would work for me as far as child care (I haven't gone to class yet, awaiting separation). My child care situation has changed and Skywest's domiciles work better for me.
If you are a winged military aviator, that would supersede all the old civilian busts. If not, I think you're still OK with SKW assuming those busts were all in an isolated time period and reflect the circumstances of the time. A lot of busts spread out over a long period of time would indicate low pilot aptitude, or poor work ethic combined with inability to learn from mistakes. |

Which means you're going to do what, exactly? Post a lot on here? How exactly does one pilot 'rock the boat hard and long'?

Let's let the current situation stew until the summer flying comes on in a tidal wave. Moral is just approaching the edge of the cliff, won't be long now before the plumet. I'm sure support will be much easier to find then. Truth is there are people talking behind the scenes and another Union drive is probably a lot closer than some anti-union guys would be comfortable with. I'd bet a lot of the people hired in the last two years would be quite happy to vote yes. |

I know of one guy who got hired with 3 checkride failures. If you're open and honest about it, can talk about what you learned, and have attained those advanced ratings without any issues, and your overall flight time is decent, I'd say you have a good chance.
Another question, what are the chances of a new hire going to LAX or PSP? |

Perhaps a little less nitpicking and some reading comprehension work would serve you well.
Notice CCB mentioned rocking the boat and I lended my allegiance that I'd be willing to "rock the boat" referring to another union drive. I'll also bring your attention to the word "ready" which implies I haven't done anything yet. Good find Sherlock. You busted a forum poster who doesn't have anything to show for their posts. Shocker there. Truth is there are people talking behind the scenes and another Union drive is probably a lot closer than some anti-union guys would be comfortable with. I'd bet a lot of the people hired in the last two years would be quite happy to vote yes. Yeah junior, lets so how tough you really are. ;) |

Maybe sooner for LAX. RSR report just stated we are taking 2 175s a month for United till august, right now they are going to LAX but may go to other bases. All depends how fast people want to transition.

Why do you ignore my precious reply to you. What exactly did you mean by seeing how tough he really is? |
