1) ORD and DTW right out of training or by being done with IOE, LAX junior FO is 8/4 hire date, PHX 8/12.

2) DTW a month or two, the rest would vary a lot. But with upgrades at 2 years 2 months everything is attainable pretty quick.

3) answered above

4) Alaska just switched to all 175s the rest is a mix I believe

Thanks. Sounds like LAX and PHX are fairly quick to get also. Looks like 2 months or so. Looking to go on the CRJ side.

I would tell them you have no preference, first available. Make sure they give you the one year seat lock, not two. Then switch after a year if you want. You'll have more flexibility and more seniority but just taking the first class. Unless you specifically want to live in SLC that only has the CRJ right now.

What are the current reserve times for ORD on different equipment? Is the crj the best bird to request if ORD is where you want to be based? Thx.

Not true, I'm Feb hire and my classmates are still on reserve in ORD. I could just barely hold MSP this month. Count on reserve anywhere u go... It is true tho that ERJ is much longer
