I started to think the exact same thing when my wife (works inflight) was telling me about how recently the company wanted language in their next contract regarding flying another narrow bodied aircraft. And the whole Boeing/Embraer thing got me wondering a little bit too, even though one probably has zilch to do with the other.

Honest question as I have no clue, but do FA's need any language in their contract to work on different types? The hubbub about that seems strange to me.

I'll ask my wife about it and yes it is rather strange. One would think (as I did too) that they wouldn't need language about that stuff but from what I've been told, EVERYTHING (including scratching yourself and coughing) has to be negotiated between the FA union and the company.

Gotta look at the bright side... at least on the cult first year pay you could pay off your 401k loan, mom, and get your heirloom back you had to hock just to play a big heavy driver in Hawaii.

Luckily being in a mostly Democratic State, I was able to qualify for gov't assistance and minimize my student loans, I just graduated so only $150k to go...Since I can't pay mom off, she had to start turning tricks in town... SWA would solve her problems too
