Hi PotatoChip ... what do you think didn't work for you the previous JobExpo? Why didn't you get an interview invite? You can pm if you want

So, I got an invite. This will be my first airline job expo/fair. I've applied to all previous openings with the exception of the last one. I had one recommendation. I have no previous 121 time. All of my 5300 hrs are 91/135. Previous 135 DO, CP and check airman experience. Clean record, degree, all that fun stuff. All of my previous applications with SWA show closed complete.
I'm not sure what sparked the invite, but I'm excited to go.

I’m going to this prep course if anyone is wondering about any boot camp type prep for the expo. It’s put on by Career Takeoff the day prior.

Be careful. The Krones are southwest. Or at least were. They know people. If one is an idiot during the prep, be sure they tell SWA. I’d avoid it. Have story ideas for the interview and just tell them as if you’re at the bar telling a fellow pilot...minus the curse words. I’m convinced my interview prep got me turned down the first time. Second time w no prep and I got the job. Fwiw

Oh, and that $12,000 dollar type rating “just to apply”.

Just curious—where did you get your type? Four years ago you could do it for 7k or less.
