Second time w no prep and I got the job. Fwiw

Why would you be an idiot during the prep (unless you are a idiot)! And if they really are SWA I will ask for their Servant Leadership guidance to support this humble Warrior Spirit future employee!

In your first attempt, did you use them to prep for interview or job fair ... and if it was interview, what do you think it went south ...? thanks

Did not use them. Used emerald coast. This was many years ago. I think it went south because I literally had all answers scripted vs just ideas and then tell a story. But who knows. It doesn’t matter now but cost me a year of seniority.

Wasn’t required to apply or interview... just start class.

Hence the reason it took them so long to call I guess, lol. I didn’t have the type, but it didn’t stop me from applying. You could interview with out it. SWA paid for my 737 type rating when they finally hired me.

You don’t need any prep at all for the expo. A waste of money. Literally after the tours of the campus and speeches, you sit down for a few mins and they go over your pilot credentials and look for errors and advise you how to fix them. They take your resume and you’re on your way.

I didn’t use job prep for my interview and got it first time around. The best prep was talking with friends hired there and using their gouges for a guide. I had all of my real life experiences in my head and applied them where they fit in the HR portion.

Higher Power. That was during GW’s first term. I think it was $9,999.00. But with the hotel, food, beer,

I remember those. I was in college and would take my apps to the campus library. There was still one of those old IBM typewriters
there. I would feed my paper apps into them, align and type/fill
out the apps. Wanted to have the edge over all those “hand written”
Apps
