I understand the premise of having 1 type of aircraft for saving $$$. Southwest has excelled for many reasons, including only using one fleet. If the Max problems had showed up after Southwest had over 100 Max aircraft on property, then the grounding would be financially devastating. When I went to their career fair they said they are focused on growing but not through mergers and acquisitions. They’ll probably say that until the day they announce a merge or acquisition. I
