Rates of Pay
I’m confident that the 2000 we have added since the last contract will be a collective benefit to your concerns. We have been more educated than ever before with SWAPA sending out a of great information.
Do we need better rates? Yes, but we don’t need the highest rates to make most happy. We need to fix lots of other things like disability/health insurance, chopped up trips and reserve Manning. Technology and language to reduce JA’s and unscheduled overnights along with a host over other things that aren’t pay rate related. My point is if we sign our Ta before the others and have “caught up” or pass, but then they sign and go +5% over us will people be angry here? Yes, but if we get other wins I don’t see a problem. |

I agree all the other stuff is more important than top paid. But I’m constantly told we are the best 737 pilots in the world. Then pay us like we are! Don’t forget to include the snap up clause. Delta, United or American pay +1! |
