A certain percentage of the population is going to get this in their lifetime, the key is to keep the rate of infected and requiring treatment at a level that the health care system can manage.

I don't want to say too much and get into trouble, but if you are going to an airport and getting on a plane when you're coughing and hacking, then you're not worth wasting the oxygen you require to breath. You're part of the problem, not the solution... and folks, people are, I've seen it with my own eyes.

I never leave the cockpit now, and in 18 years, I've never failed to thank each customer personally as they disembark. I refuse to do it!

Well, California just issued a shelter in place statewide order. The state is shutting down.

How much longer can things go on, as is? ATC facilities are shutting down everywhere, people are calling in/getting sick. All this to fly 10-30 people around at a time, at a loss?

basically the following major airports are all in "shutdown" states

LAX
LGA, JFK
DFW - DFW airport itself requires quarantine for traveler from NY, NJ, CT states
LAX
SFO
Hawaii
