I’m in that group. I’d never driven to MDW before my IOE...and I’ll even non rev out of ORD rather than driving to MDW. As I understood ORD was both expensive and AA/UA had a good lock on the gates. I assume we’ve been able to solve those problems. Hoping to see more then a couple token flights like our IAD operation.

Pretty sure United has more planes at DEN then Southwest at any given time, just saying. Pretty overly optimistic view from a Southwest standpoint.

0 of those Southwest tails at the C Concourse are DBA Southwestern Trailways Express.

Any data to support this theory? I certainly see more UAL airplanes parked there than ours, as in not flying.

UAL has more planes parked in DEN maybe....

And RJ’s don’t count.

I remember my ORD days! I can just see it now—“cap’n don’t stop here, keep going....no, no don’t stop!”

”but we need a taxi clearance!”

”trust me don’t stop....”

ATC “Southwest what ARE you doing? Taxi penalty box and wait.”

LOL

Not under FAR 117. Welcome to the big boys table.

What part of 117 prevents it? 2-2.5 hrs to the coast and an add’l 5-6 to HI?

It’s 2.5hrs from ORD to the pacific coast?

Most airlines block about 4.5-5.0hrs

I quoted someone who had DEN-HI in bold and said no due to 117.

Max doesn’t have the legs to go ORD-HNL. The 7 can do it from DEN.
