So where are they going to fly out of SRQ? MDW, BWI, and HOU? Yay.

Allegiant currently flies direct to 21 destinations out of there, including BOS, PIT, BNA, and BWI.

GK taking on allegiant's cost structure head on is either crazy genius or just plain crazy. I guess we'll see.

I hear we are doing great in MDW and HOU. We have had great success in BWI for years now.

Allegiant and Southwest don't compete directly.

Allegiant will serve those 21 cities once 2-3 times per week with one flight.

Southwest will offer multiple flights per day to their mega cities which will offer connection opportunities to the rest of their network. FLL, BNA, MDW, BWI, and HOU don't sound exciting but from there you can connect to 100+ other destinations.

No no. Those are focus cities... where we focus a bunch of traffic to connect people to other flights. Totally not a hub.

intentional connection opportunities, coheart. Get the kulture language right or the commissar of re-education will make you sit through fly day again.

It's true. I accidentally called it "catering" instead of "provo" one day and nobody had a clue what I was talking about.

My first leg of IOE at Southwest we're at "mega station" around 1pm. It's complete chaos on the radio and I just can't get a word in on ground to push. The LCA just looks at me and says..."Now remember, this is a not a hub and spoke airline."
