I refer to it as catering 9 times out of 10.

Catering implies food--and SWA has never had that in all 49 years of flying.

Whenever I hear catering I think back on my corporate times. Air Culinaire to Landmark Dulles anyone?

You guys got catering? When I flew corporate all we stocked was coffee and bottled water. Once we had a special guest aboard who requested lunch and the Aviation department leadership told me to get in the crew car, drive to Subway, and get her a 6" combo meal.

Zap- we would have hundreds of dollars of crap on board from some of the traditional places like Rudys, or Air Culinaire. One time we had 900 worth of sandwiches, sushi, cookies, and random alcohols For 2 people. Talk about uncharge!

Uggghhhh.... that place started going downhill (in my experience) a while back! Once, I received my Southwest Chicken wrap only to find that the wrap consisted of 1) a dry tortilla and 2) a dry, unseasoned piece of grilled chicken. That's all. Nothing else on it, nothing in the box to put on it. But it was still $40 as usual, ha!
