Small sample BUT it seemed to be focused (most but not all) on a particular background, most of whom are double dipping on ExTO and orders. Those who spent a decade or more at a regional know the game, but I was taken back at the attitude and lack of knowledge regarding airline labor and contract negotiations.
Which is part of the reason why the company keeps hiring them.

Naw, they hire them because they like to fly but don't twist the rules to make more TFP by screwing everyone else over, and rarely park one in the over-run.

How's that for BS gross over-generalizations to match the ones you're making?

Now, I don’t think the company will furlough (as long as the vaccine is effective). To those who say this action (sending WARN notices) will forever taint their view of our company: please leave (and help our pilot numbers too). Once the dust settles from this, I don’t want to be flying with SWA haters just because they sent WARN notices in the month of December. Would it have been much better if they were sent in Jan? Be realistic people.

I wasn’t kidding about leaving, please do.
I am not a company hater by any means. But this company official lost me with these WARN letters. This is NOT about a 10% pay cut but the ability to circumnavigate our contract. If there is even a buyout of another airline they could actually use that clause to get around the protections of our own contract on the basis of we really need this airline yadda yadda. I bet your senior enough you are not worried about your job or seat. I hope karma gets you in the future. I will not forget what this company did ever!

I love my brain bag. Hate the hat and blazer, though.

I have to say Gary and the koolaid committee creating the run on gift cards is hilarious.

I wonder if the company will sue us for violating the status quo on SWAG redemptions.

Surely that was the intended result, right? There's absolutely no possible way this blew up in their faces. ::Sarcasm off::

Is the run on gift cards the 1221 or is there something more?
