Take a look at “Bog Ern’s” YouTube channel. You’ll be looking at the same smiling jetway pictures on the welcome slide of all the CQ briefings through 2022. That guy has his nose so far up… ah never mind. Big Ern will have a new (Tuesday - Thursday) job reinventing wheels in DAL as everyone shuffles position in Flt Ops. It ain’t what you know it’s who you know.

I’ll bet he’s a good dude. He has to have the company’s blessing to do what he does. SWA is very cautious about how employees portray its image.
There’s a section at the NOC with these wizard computers dedicated solely to monitoring social media about the company. I think this gentleman represents us fairly well. No radical BS stuff, mostly factual and encouraging information for the up and coming pups. Or, anyone we can snatch from other places. Although, nothing gets people motivated like money and QOL…hint..hint..

He posted a vid during the meltdown where he made a point of changing his day off plans at home watching football to picking up a trip because he felt he needed to “do his share to help out customers”. Didn’t say a word about the beacoup ducats he was making doing it, of course. Naturally, admitting you’re doing it for the money doesn’t have quite the same ring to it.
Bottomline on him is the company wouldn’t sign off on him doing what he’s doing unless the spin was 110% approved.
