Yeah. Approaching geezer age, and have enjoyed over 30 years in aviation. Not sour, disgruntled, jealous. Admittedly a little suprised at the amount of posts from 25 year olds with 2 years 121 complaining about not getting a call in 1 week.

For ya’ll thinking about coming here, please recognize that APC forums don’t mimic the attitudes you’ll encounter on the line. Don’t get me wrong, we have the occasional DB running around, but my experience has really only been positive on the line. Take these forums with a grain of salt. People don’t act normally when they’re anonymously posting online with no accountability. Coming to work here is a lot of fun mostly because of the people you’ll work with.

I second the people comment. One thing I do give credit to SWA is the pilot hiring when it comes to personalities—haven’t had more than two or three I’d rather not fly with again in almost seven years. The cabin staffing….that’s another issue.
