Lance is a great deal, which might explain why most Lances are way senior to the junior captains in their domicile.

A lance that cannot give away his flying as an FO would be pretty limited to what they can pick up. IF—you can clear your flying line, it is a good deal for a limited time.

Yes, but they'd be seat locked for 4 months and I believe need to have the seniority as an FO to hold the lance designation. But that part is clear as mud to me

Where would Lance's fall in a merger? Cpt or FO

I would certainly think an FO.

FO...that's their bidding position for monthly lines.

Frontier is small and relatively Junior. Not sure relative seniority (ALPA merger policy) would make sense…placing a 5 yr employee above 20 yr employees…prob not going to happen.

I could see a DOH integration (call it an acquisition instead of a merger) with a seat/base lock for 5 yrs or something for the airbus CA’s.

I’d still rather let them fail on their own and grow organically…I’ve been screwed over by this industry for 17+ years…I’d like it to end and actually get ahead at some point.
