AA May Have an AIP

Yeah there were a lot of our so called union "brothers" that couldn't forgo their precious flag tie for a few months for the greater good either. They had lots of excuses too. Just wear the lanyard like our NC has asked of us. It's literally the very least we can do.

From: DOWNGRADE COMPLETE: Thanks Gary. Thanks SWAPA.
I’ll bet you I hate lanyards worse than you, so I unclipped the bottom end of mine and just tuck the loose end under my tie. That way I don’t even know I’m wearing it and I’m still showing solidarity.

That’s what I do. I can’t stand lanyards but wear the darn thing. I don’t clip my ID to it. It’s just not that hard.

I think this points to why SWAPA is possibly not in any hurry for a strike vote. Don’t ask a question you don’t want the answer to. A 95%+ approval with a 95%+ participation rate? No chance with this pilot group, even in the current environment.

Completely agree. I’m betting we would get something in the neighborhood of 60% participation and of those maybe 70%-75% voting in favor. SWAPA has a lot of education to do, and certain factions of the pilot group need to feel much more aggrieved before they’re ready to take a vote.
