During our interview we were told 3-4 months from hire date to get DAL as a base. We were also told the same thing numerous times during training.

Now it's like 7-8 months to get DAL from what I'm seeing.

Why the slowdown all the sudden in DAL? I mean I understand things change but literally a month ago I had a DAL CP say 3-4 months from hire date to my face.
Maybe they meant 3-5 months to DAL = Delta Air Lines

Took me 5 mos from DOH to get DEN. Buddy of mine was hired a year ago and got it right out of training. Timing is everything! You’re at the beginning of a (hopefully) big wave so you’ll be there before you know it. Keep an eye on other bases and flight schedules to keep the commute as painless as possible. Use TTGA to try and dump your trips and pick up in DAL.

Can confirm a similar experience with a redhead in Montreal (that French accent!) that could have had anything she wanted from me.

Also...Canada...Left corner - Catholic Church...middle of the block - Full nude strip club...right corner - Apple Store.

Tomorrows bid results will be interesting. With the upgrade plans, there will be movement.

Daaaaaaaamn 🤤

Isn’t it crazy that when we were told about the “glory days” of professional piloting, we yearned for that? Now we’re getting to be the crusty old bastards that tell tales of the days before pronoun pins.

Today’s vacancy has the most junior person holding DAL as 10/4/22 new hire. I’m not the best in math but I’m calculating that as getting it around 3 months after training ends. Am I missing something?

ATL is no longer the most senior base…12/6/22 new hire getting it.
