I agree. I didn't say that. But it's all part of the chaos we're exposed to upon check in.

Or add "no JA" days like GDOs, and let me place as many as I want every month.

Spirit makes a ton of money without JAs and with allowing trip drops to the company. We can too.
Can’t you just call fatigued?

We can, and I have. Most recently, I was so tired I accidentally answered my phone while waiting for the parking shuttle. It was scheduling, and they wanted me back in 10 hours. I said something to the effect of, "I'm not even sure I can safely drive home after the day I just had, but I know for sure I can't drive an airplane tomorrow." Trip was gone quickly.

Junior Assigned=working in a scheduled day off.
GDO=various meanings around the industry but basically a golden day off. Typically meaning they can’t JA you that day.

Whoopty effening doooo. Yeah on AM's I get to land 3 hours late only to make an extra .5 TFP, wow awesome. All that extra pay will buy me a steak salad in Kansas City.

You should never have to call in fatigued for what is on your schedule. Fatigue should be for when your schedule changes due to unforeseen circumstances.

Or when the fire alarm goes off, or when your kid was sick the night before you went to work aso.
But if your schedule makes you fatigued, the schedule is the problem....

I was referring to getting a JA, I don't consider that "on my schedule", otherwise I totally agree with you.
