I was really hoping that I'd be able to vote yes for something SWAPA put out before I retire.

Based on what they're telling us about already AIPed and close to AIP sections, it looks like the SAV might be the only one.

Bad enough to go out on disability but to have to fund your own retirement from those disability payments is not okay.

and before you younger folks dismiss this as an old guy problem, think that it could just as easily happen to you snowboarding, or hanging Christmas lights, or diving into the pool.

Disability is important for ALL of us, and should be a red line issue.

Zap, I've been preaching this "politely" with the guys I fly with. After flying with a guy who was out for 2 yrs, you become a second class citizen.
