KISS for the rnav stuff would have been

-LNAV/VNAV Pth set zeroes
-Approaching 1000' set MAA.
-Add "__(MAA)___ set" to 1000ft call-out

I’m very familiar of the I. And out of our garbage VNAV . AltINV buttons has its own issues to many don’t think about. But that’s our training.

I never have. Seems like at 1000' you could just say set MAA?
