Destination 225 is for Losers

You have to believe someone. Not everyone can be working against you. If SWAPA says it's industry leading I'll believe them until and unless I read it myself and it's proven otherwise.
Its a tough business. I have to believe someone is on my side. I know all the guys on the NC and I believe they are doing their best for this pilot group.

If you have not been on APC long you will realize that every single time an airline is in contract negotiations there will be hundreds of posts about why no one should work there. I gather some actually think their posts will influence negotiations.

I work for American. While at the airport last week minding my own business one of your FA’s was staring at me for what felt like an eternity. Finally she comes over and tells me she just finished her commercial license and was in the Destination 225 program. Long story short, her plan is to use 225 to eventually get hired at American.
She mentioned several other Destination 225 cadets plan on using Southwest as a stepping stone.

Breaking news...
Im not sure why this is such a surprise. Everyone has their end goal and I'm sure there are plenty of new hires at American warming a seat to get to Delta or United. Doesnt matter if its 225 or not.

Your comparison is apples to oranges. Delta Propel and United Aviate are cadet programs simulating Destination 225. I doubt Propel and Aviate cadets are using their respective programs to hedge a job at Southwest.

The only LOSERS are the boneheaded degenerates who picked this dumpster fire operation over Delta. What a massive mistake!
I’ve seen an awful lot of Southwest pilots wearing their hats around ATL lately. The only logical reasoning behind the sudden epidemic must be to hide their bruises on their foreheads from banging their heads against the wall screaming “Why me!!!??”.
Now get off the forums and get back to WORK. You scrubs still got another 5 legs to fly tonight.

I once had SWA as my #2.
Yall never called. However, it was your culture and all my buddies that worked there that made it a destination.
You all are still the nicest most welcoming to offline jumpseaters by far, but the deep belief in SWA culture isn’t there in crews and rampers at least.
I do think it can come back, like I believe Delta can come back to what it was (we arent as premium anymore as we think we are).
The good news for both of us is that I believe SWA and Delta can weather a round of carpetbagging managers. It may be rough for the next few years though if this downturn ever kicks in. DAL and SWA are still my long term stock picks in airlines.
cheers bros!
