Why was the trainwreck TWU556 able to negotiate DL +16%

How about the IL Dispatchers and MX (ask your BOD reps about Widebody vs Narrowbody dispatcher and Mx compensation)

Yessie wagons feel free to unite and circle here

Wonder if the company is gonna lower the pay scales due to now having a 140 MILLION dollar fine coming their way.

This is literally like looking at a release that has a dispatcher saying your career worth is landing with 4.8 at destination.

95% of our guys don't buy it, and demand more gas.

Why career value and professional self worth are viewed differently....now the pilot group as a whole caves and tries to find a way to convince themselves landing with 4.6 is OK

Just say NO (for once), not good enough, I need more career value.

Look at the whole release. Sure. But landing with less than X generates auto NO.

What's so hard about this? 99% SAV. Can't fill classes. 300+ leaving in a year. RLA play clock ticking. 6 years of trip pull by NC.

If now isn't the time, it'll never be.

Careful, posting facts like this will get you labeled a troll, and hence, canceled.

Here, hear! If the leaks are all we get and there’s not additional comp in there somewhere no bueno. Leaked rates alone don’t meet my minimum compensation required for my “yes” vote. We will see though.

Well, we have pilots in this here interweb who are building custom homes and make 4x what mommy earns who could ask for more than that?

Let’s have some self worth people. 1% more than some of the lowest paying equipment might earn a new participation trophy but let’s reach for the gold star!

Devil's advocate on your one point here... the SWA FA's are/were leading the way in a new contract cycle for all the major airlines so DL+16% doesn't mean much because all those FA contracts are in need of post COVID, post mega-inflation raises. SWA pilots are going at the very end of a cycle and while that allows them to target being the best paid of everyone, it also makes it harder to get a massive % increase vs. the competitors because SWA would know their pay and costs would stand alone for many, many years before their competitors would renegotiate their contracts and catchup. I think going first is the only chance to really, truly, reset the entire bar for your peers so if major airline pilots aren't happy with our gains vs. the regionals in terms of percentage increases etc. do what I always love to do... blame Delta lol.
