No worries, I won’t turn over an airplane with anything I see that needs addressed. Including dents and dings that I am not sure were reported before. It gives the inbound crew more time to enjoy their coffee and “non-swa time”

I'm glad we've established what our job description is. Good job.

It may benefit you to read thru the FOM/AOM instead of bolting out to do an unnecessary walk around when the FAs have told you they have a 40 min turn which should have clued you in to the presence of the outbound crew other than the outbound captain hovering over the jetway driver.

If it bothers you that much just don't do the walk around. The lost flight walk around is there to find something and save time on mx if the other crew isn't there yet. If you're going to write up stupid stuff to spite the other crew then save everyone some time, including yourself, and just walk away.

ohhh, my walk around will be on camera every time, I’m not letting you throw me under the bus for missed issues. I can hear it now, “well they left before I was there and they missed the left wheel well light in the nose gear”….. I trust no one to not try to hang my critical eye….. enjoy your sandwich….. I’ll make sure my post flight covers any issue you may be concerned about

We don’t need to introduce ourselves or exchange pleasantries. Hand off the airplane and get out of the way.

Go to work, fly the jet, go home, collect the GD movie check. Rinse, repeat.
If you wanted to be a rocket scientist, you should have signed up at Yoyodyne Propulsion Systems.

I cant stand being in the way just to shake hands then stand there for another 10 min waiting for the FAs to get off.
Especially when its 120° or 5° in the jet bridge. I have never seen OAL do this. They put the brake on and leave.
