Okay Peter Griffin.

I get it. Stagnation sucks. Unfortunately, if you’re at SWA your horse is strapped to a management team that has zero vision, flexibility, or dare I say…..competence in creating revenue. It’s also strapped to Boeing and given the past several years, that should be self-explanatory.

But look on the bright side…..the MAX 7’s been delayed so long that at this point when they finally show up they’ll just be going towards replacing ratted out -700s.

In other words…..continued stagnation.

What's the fix? How about a allocating a little space on those huge screens for a CAS? Ice detectors and automatic anti-ice are cool too.

He said they took one of our jets to the hottest place they could…Death Valley or somewhere and did max thrust TO’s/GA’s, etc and couldn’t get the cowl to blow up. FAA still wasn’t happy…so their fix is to line it with some titanium to dissipate the heat.

There's no airport in Death Valley lol. But PHX will probably do.

Not really suited for a 737, but Boeing is all about doing stupid things lately.

The E175 that most of OO pilots flew before resume washing over to WN had ice detectors and turned the anti-ice on and off in the air.

Seems like a simple add-on for boeing to do to get around the issue of pilots forgetting to turn off the anti-ice

But then your ancient 737 flight deck would have less switches to confuse you and you might have to land with "ice protection speeds"

KBTY is pretty close. The aircraft would be test configured so pretty light. Don't see a problem with that getting in and out of there doing test missions whatsoever. KTPH too. Neither are very busy this time of year so running tests there and not interfering with ops (like PHX, LAS etc) would be one the operations considerations of the test guys. Just some thoughts.

It's a 737. Not going to happen.
