I like my A20. If I was buying now I'd get an A30 because I like the general design and I think parts and repair for the A20 will become problematic well before I'm ready to retire the headset. I already bought an extra cord, against the day when BOSE puts replacement cords on indefinite backorder.

Had custom ear tips made for $140. They seal really well.

I was going to go ahead and order an A30, but I like the setup I have now (Ufly) and this isn't something that expires anytime soon. Other than the headset cost going up, I really don't see a reason to rush out and buy one.
I like everything about Bose except the weight and clamping. I used to wear an A20, and found it very fatiguing to carry around on my noggin all day.

have the person turn the gain down on the mic. I could say the same about those with the A20. I have hear the clacking noise from the standby attitude indicator through the other person's mic. No gain adjustment on the A20 that I know of. Quietest flights are those with the ufly set up.

I'm with MatthewAMEL. Tried LS Zulu, A20, DC and more at my last job flying long days. PF2 is much more comfortable with custom earpieces. I have noticed a bit of environmental noise from most every microphone, so I'm looking for a better microphone cover, but other than that, I'm very pleased. I've not been here long, but I'd spring for the BT, if only to make phone calls without missing radio calls if/when I upgrade to the left seat. CAUTION! Fly them for a few weeks before you make a decision. There is a little break in period on the new ear pieces. I used a little Aquaphor on them until they were broken in.
