The other day overheard some STL cohearts talking about a very recent local FOX2 news report about WN agreeing to fund the planned Lambert renewal project. Anyone heard anything about this? 60 seconds of google turned up vague articles from 6 months ago but nothing specific

I understand, what I’m asking is if anyone has seen official reports of this now being the case. I know Rhonda has been pretty cold toward moving forward with STL as a Southwest domicile, her being former TWA/AAL and all. Maybe she’s warming up to it if her biggest tenant is now helping her fix the place up?

Yup. United continues to pay a million dollars a month for the "D" terminal in Cleveland after they vacated it, and it won't be paid off until 2027. 13 years of payments for terminal they stopped using in 2014. Ouch. That's almost as long as they were actively using it!

Damn, that is one heck of a bill for an unused terminal.
