They poo poo'd FLL/MIA because they said they didn't want a big storm taking out two bases...but then in the next breath floated AUS as a possibility....TX doesn't ever have big storms that would impact DAL/AUS/HOU at the same time.....

Couple years ago, ran into AW. He said #1 choice of the people - BNA. #1 choice for our operation -STL. Specifically said that he liked STL better than MCI. Lots of real estate and easily offloads MDW. 🤷🏻♂️ I don’t really care as I have zero interest in either one of them. I’m pretty sure the announced plan was to open two bases a year apart from one another. As we all know, things most definitely change.
