this AT complaining is getting so old. AT got a good deal, and btw lots of swa guys got it in the butt too. Just curious if AT was still around if they'd be making $364/hr.

We’ll see if you’re still singing the same tune when Delta acquires Southwest for pennies on the dollar after they go bust like Blockbuster and you get stapled to the bottom of our seniority list. I bet you’ll be drinking that Delta Red Kool-Aid within a few weeks like a good boy!

They would be 10 times the size, flying heavies, probably still have the best jet ever, the new best jet ever A220 and make $500/hr. They had a great strike vote you know. They would have destroyed Delta in ATL. SWA pilots should have just said sure staple us to your list. Their financials were the envy of the industry.

DL looking ahead on how to make money without having to actually pay their pilots…joint ventures, regional jets, etc. Fewest WB of the big 3, brought the RJ whipsaw to the industry….not exactly who I want this airline to be like.

Well when you don’t have to pay the regional affiliates PS, nor pay your JV partners PS….you have more $ with fewer mouths to feed.
If their PS is so high, they they screwed the pooch and failed to negotiate the contract they deserved. I’d much rather have more $ every month than gamble on a once a year payday. I’d also rather have our scope than their scope that you can drive a truck through. We’re not merging with Allegiant…or anyone else under this govt. Go shine your boots and do your Texas Two Step. Enjoy that 12 hour layover in Harlingen. I think the real Air Line pilots will do just fine without your help. Oh btw, selling profit sharing for pay rates was already tried here close to a decade ago, and failed miserably resulting in a complete flush of the unon leadership. My profit sharing this year was ~$65,000. And I still make $447/hr. We ratified an industry leading global scope agreement last year. RJs are being parked and replaced with Mainline equipment. We are darkening the sky with 717s, 320s, and 737s which I hear frequent your hubs quite a bit. I actually wouldn't be surprised to see your company go after Allegiant. Experienced turnkey AB operation with MAX 8's on order that can be poached. That merger is going to be ugly. They won't fall on their swords for you like Airtran did. Enjoy the Flint and Allentown bases. |

Amazing that you’d still have the gall to boast about SWA after all the years recently of mismanagement, etc. How many more pegs does this airline need to get knocked down for you to get humbled?
