Quote: Oh look, Another Southwest pilot who thinks he knows how to run a real air line.

Go shine your boots and do your Texas Two Step. Enjoy that 12 hour layover in Harlingen. I think the real Air Line pilots will do just fine without your help.

Oh btw, selling profit sharing for pay rates was already tried here close to a decade ago, and failed miserably resulting in a complete flush of the unon leadership. My profit sharing this year was ~$65,000. And I still make $447/hr.

We ratified an industry leading global scope agreement last year. RJs are being parked and replaced with Mainline equipment. We are darkening the sky with 717s, 320s, and 737s which I hear frequent your hubs quite a bit.

I actually wouldn't be surprised to see your company go after Allegiant. Experienced turnkey AB operation with MAX 8's on order that can be poached. That merger is going to be ugly. They won't fall on their swords for you like Airtran did. Enjoy the Flint and Allentown bases.
9 yrs here and never flown to HRL. Or CRP. Or overnighted in MAF.

DL didn’t have PS until ~ 20 yrs ago when you and your peers gave up $1b/yr in concessions and also gave away the DB plan when your airline was mismanaged into Ch. 11. Pretax profit is what you get when you subtract revenue from expenses. If you did your job right, there wouldn’t be much of a profit because it would be going into your paycheck every 2 weeks instead of hoping for a large check every Feb. I’ll take the guaranteed 2x/mo increase, thanks.

Funny..,,I didn’t know that industry leading scope included joint ventures and large RJ’s. UAL and AA both offer more WB jobs. You guys do have the lock on being stuck up, holier than thou clowns though. Maybe it’s the hat being on too tight….

Mergers will have a no bump/no flush so nobody is getting displaced to Flint.

Quote: Look everyone, we got a real pilot here! Also someone that previously applied to SWA.

You do know that our scope is pretty much the best in the industry, right?
Nah….fewest WB planes of the big 3 and hundreds of RJ’s is clearly superior than owning all flying with your paint on it. DL fanboy says so.

This thread is absolute gold. Is this what you get at SWA? F9 is missing this energy.

are you sure you work for SW? Texas is the only place we fly. Just ask those at the mothership.

You need to experience the elegante before its replaced.

I looked all over Maui and Oahu, but couldn't find an Elegante anywhere. I'm sure our hotel guys looked hard, too.

I had a MAF overnight on a 26.5 tfp 4 day last month. I dumped it when Net Zero went to 1 in favor of a 3 day that paid 23. So my Elegante streak continues….

There is a Elegante not far from the COS airport…I thought for sure we’d be staying there. 😂

I bet your wife absolutely hates you. She’s probably cheating on you right now actually.

Geeze, two more pages tops before this thread gets shut down. I guess with all the big contracts settled and Age 67 on hold, trollers need to invent new stuff to troll over.
