SWA did not want Nick back due to anger management issues but really had little choice since there was no case.
I hope he is a better man now. He certainly had his issues during Covid. Horrible to work with.

FA claimed a pilot assaulted him when said FA started harassing said pilot for not wearing a mask at the hotel restaurant. Or something like that….hotel cameras showed otherwise.
VP Flt Ops (or whatever his title was) said his job was safe…and then did a 180° and said it was a “clean kill”. Soon after VP of Flt Ops went back to the line soon after…1221 and this incident led to nobody believing anything he said.
Pilot got his job back (hopefully with full back pay and then some). FA was never punished for being a lying POS (far as I know)

I am glad he is back. There is a reason you will never find me sitting with the FAs at the bar (if I even go down).

Also, the “clean kill” comment came from Employee Relations and not the VP of Flt Ops I’m fairly positive.

The big mistake the pilot made was that he pushed the FA that was in his face being aggressive. NEVER touch a fellow employee. The FA was being belligerent and way out of line but it was the pilot who got fired as he pushed the FA. It’s not right, but just so you know what you’re dealing with at work.

It's amazing how I can be locked in a closet for four days with someone who I completely disagree with on just about everything but we can manage to be cordial and get the job done. Civility is a dying virtue.
