Yes Wack. Because every other single pilot to ever to work here started at the bottom. I hope you send claire mcCaskill a christmas card stuffed with hundreds every year. Because without her and her ridiculous legislation, that's what would have happened again. Starting to look like you're going to get your chance to be magnanimous any day now. Cheers.

[QUOTE=WHACKMASTER;3873866]Okay, thanks for clarifying your belief that we all should have been stapled, MuHheMid. 👍[/QUOTE
I thought all airline mergers that pilots were protected by Alleghany Mohawk. From what it sounds of it ALPA dropped the ball or SWAPA was just a lot smarter. The later is hard for me to believe. There has to be more to this story. Looking it up online there's not much out there about it, I see were like 6 pilots sued ALPA. Why only 6?

And believe it or not, I'm just as disgusted (still) about the 80 something number dudes that took those captain seats. Because they served themselves while sticking it to the rest of us. For me... they got captain seats, and I got stagnation and kept my FO seat for YEARS longer. And you got to look out the right window again for a year. While you kept your longevity for vacation weeks. And didn't have to ride that other company into the unemployment line.

I can't figure if pilots at Air Tran like Whack, thought they got shafted on the intergration with SWA, then why did only 6 pilots sue ALPA? And why did they sue ALPA? What was the lawsuit for? And why did only 6 sue, you would have thought all of them would have sued, if they thought ALPA dropped the ball. Weird.

AA and TWA went so well that the MO senators (McCaskill-D and Bond-R) got Congress to pass legislation about airline pilot seniority list mergers.

No sweat man. I'm pretty sure I've never been ambiguous about this.

I can’t wait for another merger. Hopefully it’s JBA and they get DOH so more will pile in front of you and your aneurism will be complete.
As for the “other company” going bankrupt….that’s pretty presumptuous considering that we weren’t facing bankruptcy when SWA forced the shotgun wedding.
Karma’s a b!tch (I’d like to think 🤞 )

For the record it was three years and not one. Also, I’m not sure what kind of movement/progression you were expecting when SWA had zero aircraft on order and no hiring happening. I love how your kind conveniently forgets that. We brought 50 737 orders to the party (because I’m sure you forgot that as well).

I hear you on the displacements.
that's a bunch of BS.
We dont need to move pilots to align with the planes. Just DH how ever many you need to make it work. Most of our pairings are rigged so heavily it woudnt matter.
This is an eff you to the pilot group because 2000 office dwellers got canned and more are coming

Well, maybe you’ll get your wish with the next group and fully staple all of them. I for one couldn’t live with myself but bless your heart……
