Flyguy nailed it. There is single digit churn at the bottom of the list as people realize the situation there is hopeless and move on. Last vacancy had a very junior award, but I wouldn’t want to be hanging on to the bottom of that base.

The fastest was to Atlanta domicile is to get hired and go to MCO, then use your time sitting on reserve in MCO to apply to Delta. Don’t come here for ATL…

I’m joking above about applying Delta while on reserve. I’d be updating my Delta app right after day 1 at SWA.

What is the average amount of TFP on reserve? I know the reserves tend to work and the work rules are decent. Just trying to see what a rough average is.

Rsv is 15 days on @ 6 tfp per for a guarantee of 90. IF they used you every day, and IF every trip was rigged and IF you had no changes that got you LCO, etc then you'd credit 97.5.

Avg is around 100-110...prob. Some months are less, some more. If you pick up something on a day off, that goes above rsv guarantee. Anything picked up from OT as a yr 1 guy pays yr 2 pay.

This is correct. Figure 100TFP/month is very reasonable.

let’s hear it? Why go to delta and not stay at SWA? I’m a captain on the 737 at LCC and live in a SWA jr base. I’m hoping for SWA but have a DL app in as well.

If you want ATL it’s a no-brainer. Only other base we share is LAX and time to get there might be awhile too as we’ve displaced out of the west coast to staff the east coast.

They have fleet variety which lends to a QOL bump due to artificial seniority and gives you options on the type of trips you work. PS is light years better. Upgrade is slowing a lot and is prob about the same.

Airlines are pretty much the same for pay and benefits…try and work where you live. Commuting sucks….whatever airline gets you closest to home is what you should shoot for.

Okay that is what I was figuring, thank you!

Scrolled through all the pages but didn't see this - apologies if already asked and answered. I believe junior FO in BNA is about 1.5 years? Still correct and what about left seat?

Junior FO in BNA is actually closer to 2.5 years, but that means nothing for someone hired today. They are supposedly growing BNA in the fall again once AUS is fully staffed.

Junior captain is 2017 hire.
