June Vacancy

Today the company published the June vacancy projection for the upcoming bid. It will be a big one—if you are a 136K number be ready to upgrade.

I.E. Most junior Captains are looking to be mid to late 2018 hires, finally some movement!

1 displaced guy getting in…on a secondary. Nothing makes one sadder than seeing 6 people get in and you’d be one of em if it weren’t for crappy CBA language.

Found my line in the sand for next CBA….

We definitely screwed up on the ROR language. It doesn’t help that they took the biggest base in the system and rapidly shrunk it without much thought being given to comms or the second and third order effects of said shrinkage.
I can’t be mad at anyone for taking a spot in one of those bases…I would do the same in their shoes. If they don’t do it someone else will. It just sucks that you have to have a plus one to get back as a ROR when most of the shifting around happens via secondary vacancies.

Yes we know…

but this vacancy that closes tomorrow has 6 year upgrades and 8 or 9 year displacements all at the same time. Ridiculous.

I don't know about the displacements, but there will be nobody getting awarded captain with less than 7.5 years.
