I fly with mostly fNWA captains on the A320...most say they lost about 2,000 seniority numbers out of 12,000 with the SLI, and most have put it behind them...whether or not any lost captain status, some more experienced guys will have to speak.

they all held their seats, until the shuffling started and then some of the bottom captains got bumped but they were pay protected. Since there isnt much of a fence the shifting and bidding around started immediately following SOC.

Delta was mostly a straight status and category integration, with some adjustment for the NWA pilots greater longevity. That meant that Captains were integrated with Captains and First Officers were integrated with First Officers. No one lost their Captain seat because of the integration.

When people say they lost 2,000 numbers, they are comparing their number from a date of hire list versus the final arbitrated outcome.

A 6 year SWA FO makes a lot more than 127k.

For the record, I did not bring up the subject of pay, but if someone else is going to bring it up, I'm going to make sure it's correct.

I stand b what I said. You guys don't know what you want and you should be a little worried about it because it shows that you are unprepared, 8+ months into it.

At this point of every other merger I have seen, the "sides" have figured out what it best for their individual group overall. For instance, NWA wanted DOH, DAL wanted ratio's. US Airways wanted DOH, America West wanted ratios.

What's funny is I get the feeling that, while individual AT pilots have figured out which one is best for them and prefer that, the Air Tran pilot group as a whole would take either one, just as long as they were treated somewhat fairly in the integration.

What's sad at this point is that if I asked most of you SWA guys on here which one you wold prefer, you would reject both of them, and you don't really know why, or you won't admit it.

But, as I said, it's become obvious that the only thing that will satisfy some of you is pure hazing so as to initiate the new guys into your club.

When you have a SWA FO say that most of the SWA FO's would have voted against the agreement that was presented, when they were the ones who were going to gain the most from the agreement (for 9 years! ), it obvious and that's why everyone is mesmerized by the show. Classic indeed.

Which integration method do you prefer?

Why did your negotiators agree to this if it was so far from what your work group wanted? I would direct you anger at them, not the SWAPA guys who were just doing the job they were supposed to do.
Um. I fly for Delta. My negotiators did their thing years ago and they did a Super Premium Job.

No problem. Most people on the outside can see it.

Perhaps WN should negotiate for preference for "Super Premium Culture??"
