Unfortunately, no. That is incorrect.

Not advocating a vote either way, but if I saw an extra $120 laying on the ground I would pick it up. For some people that's a day's pay. As my Dad used to say a penny saved is a penny earned and an extra $120 could easily pay for a day at Six Flags with the family.

If you wish it was more, so be it. But an extra $1500 per year is a month's mortgage for me. That nothing to scoff at.

Ok, you're not advocating... but are you saying the TA is worth a yes vote? Maybe skip the spirit parties and try going with the BOD recommendation. Once the stars leave your eyes you'll thank yourself.

No sir. This is airline number 8 for me and the years remaining are far fewer than the years behind. I vote no because the retirement is not industry standard.

What I was admonishing him for was his mockery that $120 isn't worth anything. We are better than that. The minute we start poo pooing cash because it's not enough, we've already lost.

There are a lot of things to complain about in this TA. I don't think that first year pay is one of them.

But thanks for your not-so-subtle dig. If I were a yes voter I doubt your dickishness would sway me.

Quick question, just for curious fun for me.

Does anyone know confirmed upcoming class starting dates? I know December 9 is a start date (I think I'm sure about that one)

I'm just trying to get an idea of my possible class start dates. Not a real big deal...just day dreaming for the next 5 days waiting for PD to call with class dates.

I know other guys might have covered this before, but should I worry?

Supposed to start Nov 18th and don't have any pre-class materials yet (which is understandable since Kim Berry said not to expect it until two weeks prior), the last thing I did was the drug test and I emailed her (and left her a phone message) with the drug test confirmation number. But since getting the CJO and doing the drug test, I haven't heard anything. I've left a msg with Kim Berry and one with Berri Duran but haven't heard back from either one. Do they do a formal offer letter or something like that? I want to send in my 2 week notice but am worried since I don't have anything official yet from SWA saying, "yes, you're offically hired and start on this day and bla bla bla".

You'll get it 2 weeks out.
