Yeah, just what we need..... LESS airframes on property with too many pilots. :confused:

Hopefully this is even more motivation to replace those tired old jets with leased NGs off the used market. However, I doubt the 78 -300s that were reskinned are going anywhere soon.

Question from a non SWA guy..

Do the SWA jets have full on Nav displays eg...
Magenta line stuff or is it still glass displays
of round dials?

I recall long ago in one your jump seats
It looked a bit different from what I had seen
in other 737's

The NGs have the standard EFIS display now. We got rid of the "picture of round dials" a few years ago.

All of the "classics" have steam gauges in them.

It's actually called PFD/ND now.

Primary Flight Display/ Navigational Display
