It is a shame to watch a good airline with great employee groups turn. I wish good luck to all of you. Set the bar high.

So...Wasn't today the SWAPA board meeting to decide? Inquiring minds want to know; is the AIP going to become a TA, and go to a membership vote?

Thanks & good luck!

Meeting lasts through Thurs. Education about the deal followed by debate and finally a vote.

Maybe when one of you guys gets the details you could post them here. Pattern bargaining and all.

Thanks

Lots of rumors flying. Best to wait until after Thursday when "real" info starts to come out.

Yeah that's what I meant.

Quote: Are you the same individual that debated with me over the treatment of the AirTran pilots by SWA management and SWAPA? Was it you along with a few others stating the great culture of SWA and your industry leading contract as the primary reason for such poor treatment of those AirTran pilots? What happened?
Actually, it was you who contended the AirTran pilots were treated poorly. I have said all along that SWA management is no pushover and will bargain aggressively to reach their goals in any negotiation. It has not changed nor will it change any time in the near future.

Technically, the board could squash the Aip and the pilots would neither see it nor vote on it

Don't think that will happen, but it is a slight possibility

Saw a sneak peak from a very reliable source... If true, I'm embarrassed to be represented by a NC that actually signed off on this to make it an AIP. Our scheduling, scope, and leash on the MAX is worth WAY MORE than the pennies being offered...again, if what I say was real.

Gonna get interesting. See you guys in Houston for the Intl terminal festivities.

What I say was real? How about we see what is real. Only a few days more folks and we can all make up our minds. Instead of listening to .......
