My screen name is old I don't work for SW.

Can someone explain the JetBlue deal that didn't happen or that was uncovered? No one has really explained it and no one I've talked top at JB can either.

Is it in your current TA?

Is it SW using cancellations as an excuse to use JB international code share agreements through a JB code share, allowing non SW pilot widebody growth?

Already the case at JB, but difference is JB only just over 200 planes. Still early for WBs.

Anyone have a copy of the SW TA to post?

The agreement with jetBlue was not a codeshare, just an Interline (distressed passenger) agreement.

SWAPA objected and SWA delayed the agreement pending the outcome of the TA vote.

I don't consider Southwest a Major.

Suppose you tell me what we should have learned from jet blue because I'm not sure I can see it. Their business model was predicated on two basic things: Cheap NYers, and vacation clowns. How'd that turn out for them? Competitors ate into their gig, . Putting their company's financial future on the continued business of a single customer (the military) doesn't sound like a sound business move to me. Is that what you think we should have "learned"?

If we hire too many pilots, then people ***** about being overstaffed, and there's no extra flying to get (other than summer, that is). You know pilots--they're never happy!

True buddy, very true.
