Any SWA Pilots Living/Commuting In PIT?
Just curious what the quality of life was for those living in or commuting from PIT. Or if anyone was doing that for that matter. Just curious & weighing future options.
Thanks Folks!

You could ask the Benedict Arnold that lives in PIT and commutes to MDW about this. If you can't track him down through the AirTran pilots he fooked over, just ask any USAirways pilot and they'd be glad to point you in the right direction. I think they might actually hate him more than we do......which is saying a lot.

I commute out of PIT part time. My family lives up in Youngstown area and I keep a place up there but my primary residence and base is MCO. I would rate PIT pretty commuter friendly overall. I'm an exception commuting to MCO, most guys seem to go to MDW. Last I knew there was about 6 flights to MDW and a pretty late flight out of MDW to PIT ( 1045 pm ) as well which might allow you to bid PM trips and still get home the night of the trip which is a rarity here. As far as MCO goes, flights fluctuate from like 6 a day to 3, depending on the time of year. You can get a parking pass for the extended lot for 35 bucks a month, and known crewmember opens early so getting to the gate is easy. Mostly friendly gate agents. Good luck!

Would BWI be a viable option since it's only a 4.5 drive in the event one would need to get to work if flying to domicile didn't work out for whatever reason? Or is MDW a better choice because of the flight options that FAT717fo mentioned?
