They didn't specify dress code, so I guess the safe thing to do is to wear a suit.

Emailed SWA and was told to treat as an actual interview.

I sure hope this event will carry more weight than the usual job fairs of the past as far as getting an interview invite if you make a good impression. Doesn't seem like the usual job fairs (OBAP, WAI etc) have much affect on getting a call for an interview with Southwest. Good luck to everyone going this weekend. See y'all there.

Perhaps they’re all too busy making arrangements for their upcoming class dates.

It was very well organized. Met with everyone at first and then broke everybody up into three major groups. While one toured the ops center, the other one toured the training area and the third group had a one on one with a recruiter and then everybody rotated. 3 or 4 more new hire classes this year and have been approved for 540 next year and then @650 a year for the foreseeable future. Overall I thought it was a class act and everybody was wonderful. They said they will plan another job fair like this one sometime mid Spring next year.

As described by 123456, very organized! It was very informative. They also mentioned they clearly had the the 300 pilots with the fastest internet in the country!!!
